Smart Swaps (Part 3)

Applesauce and Greek Yogurt

When it comes to baking, you can reduce the amount of oil or butter by incorporating ingredients like applesauce or Greek yogurt. These substitutions add moisture to your baked goods while cutting down on saturated fats. Experiment with different ratios to find the balance that suits your taste preferences and desired texture. Greek yogurt is also a great alternative to sour cream!

Cauliflower Rice

Replace traditional white rice with cauliflower rice. Simply pulse cauliflower in a food processor until it resembles rice grains, then sauté. It’s a low-carb alternative packed with nutrients!
