Ruth is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 12 years in healthcare. She focuses on providing the highest quality, evidence-based care. Ruth is available to treat patients of all ages, and excels in providing care that is both compassionate and competent. She is thorough, and develops tailor-made treatment plans for every individual.
Ruth is also a wife and mother, and understands the challenge of making room in one’s life for proper self-care. Serving both men and women, we offer individualized weight loss plans based on your needs and lifestyle.
Ruth has a Family Nurse Practitioner degree from George Washington University.
At Shalva Health, you have choices. Offering convenient office, telehealth, or home visits, we strive to decrease barriers to optimal health and make your healthcare goals easy to attain. We offer daytime, evening, and weekend appointments.

We have convenient appointment options with multiple modalities and will do our best to accommodate your schedule. Our popular telehealth and home-visit options can be conducted exclusively from the comfort and privacy of your home. If you prefer to come into the office, we’re conveniently located in Pikesville, Maryland right off of Reisterstown Road.
