Shalva Health ("we", "us") runs shalvahealth.com. This policy explains what information we collect through the website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers the website only. Your medical records and the health information you share during your care are protected by federal law (HIPAA) and described in our Notice of Privacy Practices, which you can ask for at any time.

- Information you give us. If you call, email or message us, we receive your name, contact details and whatever you choose to tell us.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records basic technical details such as your browser type, device, the pages you visit and how you arrived. We use cookies and tools such as Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics for this.
Booking appointments
Online booking happens on our patient portal, run by Optimantra. Information you enter there is handled by Optimantra under its own privacy policy and our agreement with it, and is protected as health information.
How we use information
- To answer your questions and schedule your care.
- To run, secure and improve the website.
- To understand which pages are useful, using information that doesn't identify you.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use health information from the website for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us run the website and the practice, such as our hosting company, booking portal and analytics provider, and only as needed for that work. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Email and messages
Regular email is not a secure way to send health information. Please don't email details about your symptoms, test results or medications. Call us instead, or bring them to your visit.
Cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website still works without them.
Links to other sites
Our site links to other services, such as Facebook and Google Maps. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.
Children
The website is not directed at children under 13. Parents and guardians book and manage care for their children.
